Join us for a two-part workshop where we will discuss all things gravestones!
Have you ever wondered what the pictures engraved on old gravestones mean? Join us to find out!
Part 1 on May 10 will include a lecture on gravestone cleaning and maintenance, history, and symbolism.
For Part 2 on May 17, join us at Montrepose Cemetery in Kingston for an in-person demonstration of cleaning a gravestone.
(Rain date is Sunday, May 18.)

Courtney has spent her entire life in the picturesque Hudson Valley, drawing inspiration from its natural beauty and rich history. With a solid background in museums, she has developed a deep appreciation for preserving stories and cultural heritage. Now, she is channeling her skills and compassion into a burgeoning career as a deathcare worker, serving as both a death doula and funeral celebrant. Additionally, Courtney is a talented harpist and sound healer, and she plans to integrate the soothing sounds of her music into her work, bringing comfort to those in their final moments.
